When Lizzie sees the witches, led by Alyssa Chang, tormenting Josie, however, she remarks "game on", and vows to solve the issue once and for all. Over the PA system, Alaric calls the students to report to the Grand Hall for assembly. She was worrying about herself when she has a bigger problem, though she believes she can help. Although people describe Lizzie's personality and possibly even her appearance compared to being a "mean girl," she is a beautiful, young woman with light skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair. Lizzie even voices that she misses her mother, Caroline, and Caroline tearfully responds that she misses Lizzie too. Hope believes that her fate is sealed, but she and Josie try to give her words of encouragement. She found someone on the brink of death, but his daughter was there, similar to their own situation. They need to get the wolves to safety by leading them to the tunnels beneath the school where Lizzie can trap them with a barrier spell. They eventually evade him, and they talk about why Hope isn't revealing herself to the world. When Lizzie is well enough, Josie reveals that she is now powerful enough to open multiple doors out of the Prison World and back to Mystic Falls. Startled and afraid, Lizzie runs, however she is no match for Sebastian's speed, and he manages to catch her. She used to sneak bread and water to him if she could and that was their little secret.
